This is a pretty Hunter ceiling fan that will go well in a natural environment or at least your front garden. Just put in some old (or imitation old) furniture, along with dark wooden accents and you are good to go.

The blasted gray zinc blades are great with the whole outdoor look, and can be altered drastically just by flipping the blades over. The provided downrod may not be as effective in all types of ceiling (Hunter typically provides a standard length of three inches), but this can be resolved with using longer rods.

Please make sure that the location where you install this fan does not allow water to drip into the fan. The product may have ETL status but is not designed to get soaking wet from rain showers, leaks from the ceiling or broken roof gutters.

Many customers remark on how the assembly goes smoothly without mishaps or problems. Remember to go over the manual thoroughly though.

As a whole, the product does what it promises: “silent” and strong breezes with little to no shaking even when turned up to the fastest settings. The airflow even surpasses those from the Hunter model reviewed earlier (with only around 5000 CFM).

In addition to the solutions Hunter has for discoloration and rust, the blade irons are treated with anti-static chemicals for dust resistance. How’s that for careful design?

Not just available in the U.S., this product can be shipped abroad at no cost, with more than twenty destinations to choose from. Add the option of gift-wrapping it and your Hunter ceiling fan will be received and cherished for years to come.

On the flip side, the entire product is fairly heavy, so it is important to provide a solid rod for it to hang properly, as well as a strong ceiling for foundation.

There are pull chains for use, but the relatively high ceiling location could be troublesome. You need to use a remote control, which is not part of the package that comes with this Hunter model.

However, you may be able to use a universal type for convenience.

Regarding the blades, some customers have complained about having problems with the angle upon insertion. Do remember to read the entire manual and look over the illustrations. The thinner ends of the blades are the ones to be inserted, and not the other way around.

As for the aspect of grit and stamina, unfortunately we don’t have enough information to go by. Most reviews online are not written by users who have been using this model for more than one year, and this is understandable because of the relatively high price tag and the fact that it has only been released recently in the market (one year and two months at the time of writing).

Hopefully, one of the earliest purchasers will review the product for the benefit of potential buyers.

All in all this product is a good buy, even if it is a little more expensive than the other Hunter model reviewed here. Invest in this fan for good performance and rustic presentation.
